"You are not an accident"
That message comes to my mind while at the farm sweeping fallen dried leaves early this morning. I've heard the message from a well known speaker some years back. I also remembered the Bible verse from Jeremiah:
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart..." (Jeremiah 1:5)
Yes, I believed everyone was created and called for a purpose. We may not know exactly our "definite" calling but the fact remains that God created "no junks". There was a plan otherwise men will go through life drifting aimlessly without purpose or direction.
Barbara de Angelis said it well : "No matter what age you are, or what your circumstances might be, you are special, and you still have something unique to offer. Your life, because of who you are, has meaning."

PRAYER:
Father God, remind us that we are "unique" and "valuable" to You. You have plans for each and everyone. Help us to realize and discover our gifts. May we learn to develop them and strive to make the right use for Your own glory. Amen.
